Ibiza Winter
Almost two weeks in Ibiza. I’m renting a house with an ocean view in Cala Tarida, down in the south. Mornings are cold—I get dressed, boil some water, and try not to get too chilly. It’s cold inside, so I have to use the A/C to heat up the place. The sun rises around 8 AM, perfect timing for a short sunrise walk before I start my workday.
I usually take the backdoor down to the cliffs in the morning. This morning waves are wild, crashing against the rocks, water splashing everywhere. Wrapped in my fake fur, my hair swirling in the wind, I just stand there, taking it all in. I love it—the raw power of nature surrounding me.
Since I got here, I’ve slowed down. I’m alone in this house, but sometimes, it feels like I’m alone on the whole island. Ibiza is known for its party scene, but right now, most places are closed. It’s peaceful, quiet. The kind of quiet where nature takes the main stage. The roads are empty. And I’ve been craving this—space to just breathe, to feel myself again.
I came here to free up energy. To create. To be in flow. I’ve known for a long time that I need to make some changes for life to be more in flow, but I haven’t been ready for changes. Until now. So my plan is simple: generate energy. Focus on good habits and connect with nature in solitude.
For now, life is quiet. I wake up, eat three proper meals a day, sleep 7–8 hours, move every day, get outside, and work. I’ve cut out alcohol and sugar completely, limited social media and caffeine. Yesterday, I finally had a breakthrough.
It’s funny—I've gotten to know myself so well that I just know exactly what to do to get back into alignment. And yesterday, I did. I used that energy to finalize my website. And also, to dance.
When there’s no noise, no distractions, it becomes so much easier to see where energy is leaking. I’m thankful for Ibiza, for bringing me back in flow.
Places I’ve explored so far:
🌊 Cala Tarida – Love this beach. Great for running from here to Cala Corral and further to Can Solei.
🏙 Ibiza Town – Went for a coffee and a walk. Didn’t like it much. Kinda ugly, to be honest.
🏖 Casa Comte – My current favorite walking spot. Starts as a beach but continues along the cliffs—so beautiful.
⛰ Sa Penya Esbarrada – Went for a run here. Stunning views, completely worth it.
🌅 Cala Vedella – Watched the sunset here on a Friday after work. The water was crystal clear, and it was super serene.
